The Network Effect

November 21 @ 10:00 am – 12:00 pm

The world needs what you build. Come build it with the right people in the room.

The Network Effect is a morning for entrepreneurs, business owners, side hustlers, and anyone building something in Lexington. Presented by the Lexington Urban League Young Professionals (YPinLex) as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week 2026.

The Panel: The Wins, The Lessons & The Work
Local entrepreneurs get candid about building a business: the wins, the setbacks, the pivots, and the practical advice they wish they’d heard sooner. The panel is moderated by a standout high school student on an entrepreneurship pathway.

What to Expect

  • An opening keynote on networking and growth as an entrepreneur
  • A candid entrepreneur panel
  • Intentional networking designed to help you meet the right people, not just more people
  • Small-business resource partners on hand to talk funding, technical assistance, and business development
  • Exclusive same-day perks from local businesses, so the conversation can continue over lunch or coffee

Stay for the Buy Black Marketplace
After the program, head to the Lyric Community Room from 12 to 2 PM. Shop local Black-owned businesses ahead of Small Business Saturday.

Come ready to connect. Bring business cards or have your LinkedIn QR code handy. Know who you want to meet and what you need next.

Free to attend. Registration required.https://luma.com/a0yypks2
