01 / The experience
Closer to the artist.
Deeper into
the music.
Launching in 2027 at the Historic Lyric Theatre, Lyric Unplugged celebrates the music of people of color from around the world through intimate performances and the stories behind the songs.
Discover national and emerging artists sharing sounds rooted in culture, tradition and creative expression. With just 30 ticketed audience members per session, every performance offers a close connection between artist and audience—professionally filmed so the experience can reach music lovers everywhere on YouTube.
02 / Tune into the feeling
Big inspiration.
An intimate stage.
Start with Jill Scott’s NPR Tiny Desk performance for a taste of the close atmosphere and musical discovery that inspire our approach. Lyric Unplugged will bring its own artists, cultural perspectives and creative identity to the Historic Lyric Theatre.
